Every young person deserves the chance to grow up free from bullying.
But bullying in Australia isn't slowing down.
1 in 4 young people are still being bullied regularly, while cyberbullying continues to rise. For many young people, bullying isn't confined to the school gates. It follows them online and into the spaces where they should feel safe.
For more than 20 years, PROJECT ROCKIT has been giving young people something different: practical tools to challenge bullying, stand up for themselves and others, and create positive change in their communities.
And it works.
After a PROJECT ROCKIT program, 89% of young people willing to help someone who is being bullied, while 92% feel that they have people at their school who they can be themselves around.
But demand for our programs is greater than our capacity to provide them. More than 150 schools are currently waiting for PROJECT ROCKIT support.
Your donation can help change that.

Bullying is still impacting young Australians
When young people are given the tools, change happens.
“Everyone became more accepting and actually stopped bullying.”
17-year-old, Atherton QLD, 4 years after a PROJECT ROCKIT workshop.
“It gave everyone more understanding of what it really is like and how bad it can actually get. I’ve been bullied before and this helped me so much.”
18 year-old respondent, Perth WA, 3 years after a PROJECT ROCKIT workshop.
“It made me look around and make sure no one is getting bullied and not be a bystander.”
13-year-old, Sydney NSW, 2 years after a PROJECT ROCKIT workshop.
From facing barriers to finding connection
Meet Ella
Ella joined PROJECT ROCKIT as a casual Program Presenter in 2021. After delivering workshops in hundreds of schools across Australia, she now leads and mentors PROJECT ROCKIT’s Programs team.
One experience that has stayed with Ella happened during a trip to rural Victoria. A young person who had found it difficult to engage at school spent much of the first workshop asleep. But by the second session, they had moved to the front of the room, joined the conversation and even volunteered to participate in front of their peers.
For Ella, moments like this show the impact a safe, inclusive space can have on a young person.
Your donation helps Ella and the PROJECT ROCKIT team reach more young people with the tools and confidence they need to thrive.
